Snowstorm Closes School on 29 February 2012

A very bad snowstorm hit the JLSS area on Wednesday 29 February 2012 forcing the closure of school. The storm was the worst to hit Lebanon in ten years. It continued unabated until Friday afternoon. All the roads in our area were blocked because of the heavy snowfall. The main road to Beirut was totally blocked and was closed for all vehicles. Classes resumed on Monday morning 5 March 2012.
