Distinctive Students Honored

The Association of Evangelical Schools in Lebanon honored all distinctive students of Evangelical schools who got good or excellent averages in the last government exams. Distinctive students form all Evangelical schools gathered with their parents on 2 November 2007 in the UNESCO Palace - Beirut. Students received memorial plaques to honor their achievements. A reception followed the program. Five from our school were among the students honored. They are: Laura Hamawi, George Makhool, Mona Yaktine, Omar Bakri, and Rasha Al-Taghelbi. We were disappointed to discover that students from vocational schools were also honored this year, but we were not notified. Many students form our vocational school should have been honored including the first and second in the whole of Lebanon in the Car Mechanics field. We congratulate our students for their achievements, and we thank A.E.S.L. for organizing this program.
