Back to School September 2015

The new academic year 2015/2016 was scheduled to start on Monday 14 September 2015 but delays in the execution of the summer projects imposed postponing starting school until after the Adha holiday.
Boarding students started arriving on Sunday 27 September and school started for all departments on Monday 28 September.
Grade 9 as usual started earlier on 7 September 2015.
The execution of summer projects extended long after the beginning of the new academic year. This, in part, was due to the very long delay the company from Beirut took to complete its part of the energy project. The company was contracted to do the central heating pipe connection from BBH3 to BBH2, and from the main office building to the new Kindergarten center.
Other contractors were also very slow in completing their projects.
For the first month boarding children from BBH2 and BBH3 had to take their showers in other boarding homes. Eventually, the showers part of the project was completed, but central heating took much longer.
The end result was very good.
We hope to do the third stage of the energy project next summer.
