Additional German Embassy Support to JLSS

The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany kindly approved an additional project for our school which we previously applied for. The badly needed cooking pan for our kitchen was approved. The Electrolux Zanussi Heavy Duty Gas Boiling Pan (Z9BSGHIRFO) was delivered by SOLARCO Company on 6 June 2013. The cost of the project was US$ 8,223.
Our kitchen staff are delighted as they now have two cooking pans to use. Cooking for over 150 people with one cooking pan was no easy task at all. When the old cooking pan was out of order we had to replace student meals with sandwiches. Now thanks to the German Embassy our kitchen is well equipped, and our students and members of staff will have healthy hot meals even if one pan is out of order.
We thank Her Excellency Ms. Birgitta Siefker-Eberle for her wonderful friendship and support of our school. We are very grateful to her, the German people, and the German government for both grants that provided our school with badly needed equipment.
